Ohio is a Uniform Bar Exam (UBE) jurisdiction. All UBE jurisdictions use the same 3 sections:
Multistate Bar Exam (MBE)
Multistate Essay Exam (MEE)
Multistate Performance Test (MPT)
2 writing assignments
Ohio Bar Exam Dates
July 2023 exam: July 25-26, 2023
Feb. 2024 exam: Feb. 27-28, 2024
*The Ohio Bar Exam takes place on the last Tuesday & Wednesday of February and July.

Minimum Passing Score
For Ohio, the UBE minimum passing score is 270.
Jurisdiction-Specific Component
Online, open-book, multiple-choice exam and outlines covering relevant Ohio-specific components. Both those sitting in Ohio and those transferring in a UBE score are required to complete the Ohio Law Component.
This jurisdiction-specific component is given separately from the bar exam.
